ive got a 73 in my back yard i found a man that has a 73 lesabre that i pulled the front fenders off for mine i can take a picture for you of the top. i am not replacing the lower front turn lights on my car as they tend to rot out the fender. the lesabe i get the fenders from had speed alert clock delete and nice green sea belts. car was pretty nice but had roof rust. or you can buy my car shove it full of buick parts and ship it to you. they you will have the measurments you need

    Gary,
I still have to plan a time to get up there, I'm in the process of switching jobs and will now have some Saturdays off

@Bammax, no this is still unfinished.
If anyone out there has a C-class '73 with the top lights, please measure the shortest distance between the light and the front headlight bezel along the top of the fender - on each side. Also please measure the shortest distance from the top fender light to fender edge along the hood/fender line.

A general observation like eyeballing where the centerline through each fenderlight would intersect the top of the front window would also help.

With these two measurements on each side I think I could finish the template which I would then post on the thread and anyone interested could print out.
