what is the correct color for the outside border of the 72' taillight lenses (black or silver)..............also what is the going price for a pair of nos 72' taillight lenses or look as good as nos?????
The outside color depends on which car you are putting them on. The correct outside color for a GS is black. Duane
I just sold a set....had the argent paint on the surround, and they were nice, but did need the paint redone. They sold for $100 Mike
okay, i got a set that i had done, i polished the plastic and its really shinny now and re-done the paint in black, id say they look like nos taillights, they are really nice!!!!!! the red lense very shinny!!!!!..........what should i charge for them, whats a reasoable price..........i don't wanna rip anyone off........i would consider these lenses show quality
Anywhere from $75 to $150 ..... depends on how you want to go about selling them. I sold mine on ebay and sold them with no reserve and started them at $50. I was saving mine for another resto job, but need the funds for the 70 lenses that I ordered. Cash flow is tight right now.....gotta sell stuff I have to get stuff I want I guess. o No: Next thing that goes is my extra 70 Buick name plate for the bumper...... sure as heck I'll sell it and someone will rear end me this spring.
