This should be interesting, especially for us 72 guys. :Brow: VIN says it was built in Framingham, MA. (G) 4-speed car
Aw Brett, you beat me to it, I was just going to post that! Wonder how long I will be high bidder? 1 hour? 2 hours? <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/4/4_12_2.gif' alt='Huh? 2' border=0></a>
I am curious to see if he meant to post it with No Reserve or if this was an error and he ends early and relists.
Chris... Now Chris... how are you going to get this car you are on the wrong side of the country ..... :Brow:
Re: Chris... If my bid wins the car, the cost of transporting the car wouldn't be an issue! Like I said, I do not expect to be the high bidder by the end of day, let alone the end of the auction! I am partial to 70's anyway.........
Since I am not going to buy this car, I will share the little added info I have so far with all of you. If you really want this car, you should move fast and make him an offer. He said: It has a tach built in the dash. Cowl tag & seem split- I'll get you a picture tomorrow. It is an origional 4-speed car. No rust underneath the car. Rust in core support or under the battery- i will look tonight and let you know tomorrow. I don't really have a set price as far as what I am looking to get out of it. I am taking offers though. Thanks, Bill
Re: well............ Dave, One's enough...but I will be interested to see what this thing grabs. Looks like all the really hard work has already been done.
Re: Re: well............ o No: I got the impression you hadn't really done anything to the car in the last 18 years except store it, and it is pretty original. Or did you mean it doesn't really need any hard work done to it?
Re: Re: Re: well............ I was talking about the eBay car, it doesn't look like it needs too much work to be complete.... My car on the other hand....:ball:
Re: Re: Re: Re: well............ Sorry Brett, so was I, but I typed it wrong. Here is what I meant to type: I got the impression HE hadn't really done anything to the car in the last 18 years except store it, and it is pretty original. Or did you mean it doesn't really need any hard work done to it?
I would loike to have this car If I didn't already have too many projects I would really like to have this car! Question: are my eyes bad or are those standard idiot lights? (not rallye gauges?) If it doesn't have rally gauges wouldn't that mean someone added the in-dash tach? Maybe it can/will be added to the Stage 1 registry?!
Another one for the registry would be nice. I'm pleased to report that the Sloan documentation verified that the 72 I bought last weekend is a Stage 1 just need to clarify the transmission information looks like a factory 4 speed car to me but the documentation is foggy........uzzled: But I've addressed that in another thread. In any case, I think it is a true 4 speed and it's Stratomist Blue too  Steve
