I had a question regarding the Tri-Shield on the hood of my Skylark. I've seen some Skylark's with the Tri-Shield being in color and others where it's purely chrome, mine is just chrome. Just curious if both were options from the factory or not. Thank You
I seem to remember my 72 having the Red White and Blue coloring, possibly under a clear plastic that fit the emblem.
I used to think they were just chrome too because mine never had any colour. But I did notice a very small flake of blue a while back when I looked really close. I'm guessing they were red, white, and blue and most have lost their colour over time! Craig
Oh okay. It was just confusing for me seeing both, and I was just curious if the full chrome was a 72 only style or if it was a way to differentiate a Skylark coupe and a Skylark Custom.
