Attempting to remove the base plates off my door panels. Have broken two of the base plate plastic mounting pieces that the retaining clips slide over...How do you remove these clips. Is there a special tool? It's the clip that holds the base plate to the door panel. And anyone know where I can get the clips from?
I'll get some tonight when I get home from work. I have a few days since I'm waiting on new water shields(none on car) and I guess I'll have to order new base plates.
Here's the clips I was referring to. First how do they come off without breaking them. The little metal prongs are like stuck inside the plastic stud. Or are they one time use clips. Guess they are not really needed once the armrest base is screwed into place it would it.
