Quick question for everyone regarding the cig lighter on a skylark. On the back of the socket is a metal circle that does not touch the lighter housing. Just wanted to ask if that is intentional or should the tabs be bent in to touch the housing.
I believe that to be intentional. if it touched the housing the socket would be alive all the time. Short out?
