72 Skylark bench seat parts?

    s-l1600.jpg Anybody know if there is a reproduction of the plastic trim around the center armrest (red arrow)?

    Try looking for a 1970-1972 Pontiac Le Mans. They use the same Bench seat as our GS and Skylark. (I found one in a junk yard getting ready for the crusher the next day. Bought the whole car : disk brakes, rear end, Bench seat with arm rest, minor trim that I sold to a member needing that exact part number!)
    Also (don't laugh!) try an old school bus seat back. Yes, it is metal aluminum, but can be formed by a competent craftsman with a bead roll.
    That plastic just deteriorates...

    I think it may be used on other cars as well with the center armrest. Will check on next trip to junkyard.

    AHA! It is used on other cars! Just hope that it doesn't disintegrate . For some reason, I've found that the very light color vinyl seems to break down more than the dark colors...
