Hey guys Sonny here just purchased a 72 skylark, looking for some suggestions to increase horsepower and torque to the little 350. Thx again

Welcome aboard! I, too, have a ‘72 Lark but the original 350 has been passed along for its bigger brother.

Plenty of fun to be had with the 350. Take a look at “Small Block Tech” on this board, and consider a gear change out back for more spunk - see “Got Gears?”

Well Im not an SBB guy, ask them. And be sure to check out TA Performance

In addition to 4 bbl, manifold and cam you should plan for headers, dual exhaust, a looser converter and steeper gears with a limited slip unit.

Yeah, forget the cam right now. 4bbl intake, either a used iron intake (post in Parts Wanted), or the TA intake,

Get a Quadrajet built for you by one of the two guys here on the board,

    http://www.everyday-performance.com/ (techg8 here on V8)

    http://quadrajetpower.com (carmantx on V8)

2 1/2" dual exhaust with Walker 17749 mufflers.

Get your ignition timing dialed in,

After that, you may not even want a cam.
