I think he just needs the blades. Trico makes "classic series" wiper blades in silver that look almost identical to the originals. I think they are 33 series blades. last time I got them, I got them from NAPA
Sounds as if you need the "refill holders" that are attached to the ends of the wiper arms, themselves. I have very clean complete wiper assemblies off both 70 and 71 Impalas, the 71's may be the same as your 72 Buick full size. Don't want to break them up. Might? be able to source just refill holders off a 73 Le Sabre in the local yard, although I suspect they are damaged or long gone. I would go with Bruno, imho. Pm me if you cannot find them through him.
