72 GS inner tail lamp housing

    Ive noticed past history photos of inner tail lamp housings with sloppy yellow markings . I imagine they are assembly line markings . Mine had them. But I restored mine and painted them a Graphite color. If anyone has used ones in a parts bin. Or photos. Love to see them.

    I looked at the originals off my 72 stage car which was all original. I did not find any yellow marks. I also checked a couple of others with no luck...

    Yes, I've seen that yellow paint mark on my original 71 tail light housing. It also was on my front turn signal light housing.
    This was also on a NOS housing I recently had...

    That's it! But much neater than I have seen. Usually crooked runs. And sloppy. Good pic! Thanks
