72 Grill and Headlamp Bezel

    Question
    anyone know the procedure they used from the factory to paint the 72 grills silver and black?
    is there a paint code for the silver on the grill and also headlamp bezels?

    They used "guards" that would allow the soft edge,..a air brush would be my approach,..

    that makes sense. that's a lot of work to tape all that off

    Dark semi gloss gun medal around the head lights and the color of the car towards the grill. If you need a good picture I have a NOS to go by.

    I was giving a lot of thought to this post, I have a set of headlight doors and they are a very dark gun medal, I do not recall seeing another part number for the GS being black?????
