Hello all. I am running a stock 350 2brl. I am getting a distributor from TA with that is electronic. Not the HEI with the huge cap. Is Champion (25) RV17YC a good plug to run with that set up? I have them set at .35.
Also what coil should I run with it. I have an old Flame Thrower in it now with the existing distributor that is going to be replaced (it was electronic also). Should I take this time to upgrade that coil?

Those Champion plugs will be fine. Check the primary resistance of your flamethrower coil. Measure between the + and - terminals of the coil with an ohmeter. 1.2 ohms or less is what you are looking for. That TA distributor is based on the MSD Ready to Run line of distributors. That is what they recommend, 1.2 ohms or less.

I thought you had one of those already?

I do but it is rather old and ragged looking. As much as I have put into this car I thought I'd replace that also. It's just 40 bucks. So that one will work?
