Any tips on replacing 72 Skylark 350 drum booster? Lots of stuff in the way to get to the two bottom nuts! Did one on a 67 and it was a little tricky, this looks real tricky. Can't even get my hand on the two bottom nuts. Assume the bracket holding the brake lines needs to be removed to start. It works OK and debating whether to paint it or replace it. Cost of booster is reasonable so not a problem, just my laziness!
I had to find a wrench that fit for that job. I used a short wrench an obstruction wrench and another offset one. I did it in my 455 and it was not really bad. Just need patience for the really short turns coming ahead.
Doubt if there is a way to use your 92 booster, but there is always a way. I don't know. Decided to paint mine in place for now , like I said lazy and it works fine!
