I am wondering if the 71 sportwagon was available with the 350 2 bbl? from what I have seen and read ( from order sheets) the 71 Sportwagon was only available with the 4 bbl. Yet every time I go to the parts store for carb related parts they only list the 2bbl. Does these idiot programers need to get there head out? Tim
43436, 2 seat wagon, available in both 2V & 4V carbs.. with 350 engine. The 4V version for '71 was Rochester Q-Jet 7041544. Just ask for a Skylark or GS 350-4V carb. part. Younger parts counter staff just don't know much about these old cars. Simply too young to know what a carb. does or where it goes. Next time you go back ask for a waterpump for a '72 Beetle.:bglasses:
