The hood trim keeps getting lose and a couple of studs are broken, this has chipped the paint and is annoying. Any tricks to keep this trim in place and tight ?

I took a few broken studs on mine down to an even flat surface. Drilled & tapped the ends to accept a 6-32 machine screw. Put the screws into the studs from inside the hood sheetmetal & used a flat washer to span the larger hole size. Worked well enough I did a couple more that were questionable. No problems after that.

Thank you, I’ll give that a try. I did try threading the existing studs and used regular nuts and that helped but didn’t really suit me but it did help. Thanks again..
