I don't really condone this and in my defense.. He drew first blood. And in his defense, it's not exactly a stock Skylark.. So I'm driving home from a not so local cruise in. Minding my own business in the far right lane.. An SRT8 Challenger comes up beside of me and starts accelerating and letting of.. So I give it a good blast and let off.. And this goes on a couple of times. I thought it looked pretty obvious that I had a few more HP.. And at this time we are cruising at near 100. He's behing and nails it comes around and is accellerating away. I let him get a couple of car lenghts and nail it come just blasting by him it just wasn't close.. When I look down at the speedo I'm going L1.. ( and it's correct)Cars come up fast when you're going L1.. Anyway, he was a good sport, and got up beside shook his head and just smiled.. Then I ran a few more errands on the way home. BTW.. This car is for sale because I don't need to be doing this.. For one reason..
My buddy has a SRT300 and I took him 2 for 2 in my 65 in the 1/4 mile. He could barely break into the 14's......at 106-108 mph! He could not get that car to launch to save his life! Wheelhop, traction control that wont turn off yet still doesnt work and a transmission ECU that "learns" what you're doing, then tries it's best to do the opposite. He was spitting nails! There is no doubt though, that is a VERY fast car....I got lucky.
Good kill... L2 in the "T" means you've left the ground, lost steering and have to let off. Ha, ha, ha, ha..... Mikey
