Hello! Wante: The upper dash panel, the top section of the dash between the dash pad and the windshield. Mine has some rust holes, and no one makes that panel, at least not that I've seen, so it will have to come from a donor car. I was told that I should get the panel including part of the cowl so that I can break the spot welds and cut out a complete panel. I'm in CT, and can travel somewhat to help cut it out if need be. My interior is dark saddle. Matching color isn't necessary, but it would be a plus. Please let me know what you have, with pics if you have them, and how much you want. Thanks... I do not have the windshield out yet. I haven't started to work on the car yet. I'll post a pic of the holes tomorrow.
The part you see through the windshield is not a separate piece, Its part of the entire dash assembly. You are correct, it will need to be spliced in. My best advice would be to to remove the stainless shield at the base of the windshild to get a better idea of the rot.
