OK so, the story has come back to me. We bought this grille to replace a damaged but rebuilt grille for a 71 Stage 1 Vert, ZONE CAR... at the '06 GS Nats, we purchased an NOS 71 GRILLE From Dave Macintosh I believe? Wheelz Check the grille studs. They look like 71 Skylark grille studs which are larger in diameter, and will break the stud mounts when trying to thread them in.
