This is a car that George did a body off: http://www.buickperformanceclub.com/71Stg.htm I've owned the car around 8 years now just making it better Things I've done to the car since I have had it: added Factory Buick AM FM Stereo Radio and GM rear speaker Reproduction Factory Tach Boxed Rear control arms and sway bar Rebuilt Transmission added 2800 Hughes Convertor Rebuilt Carb and Gary Paine put the tune on it Two electric cooling fans, kick on at 180 degrees Replaced core support with new OEM one Replaced R/F inner Fender well with a very nice used one both above done in the last month or so Car runs very strong, not sure on Diff but it either has 364:1 or 373:1 Posi IMO, not 308:1 like George says Engine specs can be seen in Georges' Link above, nice lope Scott Brown Cam AC blows cold, can be run now on any very hot days, even in traffic, and car does not overheat Drives nice and tight, and goes down the road very well Everything works except the heater, I never tried to fix it Power Steering, Power Disc, A/C, Tilt Wheel, Tinted Glass, AM FM Stereo, N25 exhaust Car is located in NE Ohio 44446, actually stored at a buddies house close by I'm moving to NC soon and I will not have the room for it, I really hate to give it up, but …. I had a duplex that I used to rent and kept the garage for me. I sold that recently and car is now stored at a buddies house close by to me in Ohio.
I wish I were able to jump on this deal. Anytime you can get a car like this that has had a body--off resto, for only 27K, is amazing.
Depending on color, options, documentation, 4-speed probably 50K , Stage 1 convertibles are topping out a 80K in to days market.
