Im interested. I have seen one in a while, is there anything else need to mount these in a hood that has no scoops? I have a glass hood on my car and I want the scoops.

Hi-- I can only speak to metal GS hoods since that is what I am familiar with-- Look at pix 100_2526. You will see the underside of the inserts have several threaded bosses cast into the plastic. Screws seat into these bosses from the underneath of the hood. The stock hood has metal tabs with holes in them to mount the inserts securely.
See if your fiberglass hood also has these tabs.

 

Sure would like to have these. Just not in the budget right now. I have a 71 with 72 grilles.
