71 and 72 GSX

OK gents, so I seem to have a knack for flushing stored GSX cars out of their hiding places. I’ve located another one.

Wondering how many, if any yellow 1971 cars were built? And the same for the 1972 model year?

 

I feel pretty confident in saying there were no yellow GSX's built in '71 or '72.

 

No yellow offered in 1971 .

In 1972 Buick Offered Sunburst yellow.
I bought back in 1988 a real deal 1972 GSX 350 in factory Sunburst yellow with tan/ black buckets console car, factory UB5 hood tach as well. Fully documented GM of Canada documentation.

 

I stand corrected. Sounds like an interesting combo.

There is a '72 Sunburst yellow GSX in the Middle East - Saudi Arabia or one of the smaller Emirates around it.
