there are plenty of yards around here unfortunately they crush all the older cars. i went to a yard in houston on saturday at 1200 asking for parts he said he had an apollo come in that morning, he pulled the motor trans and diff then crushed it

    New wheel!!!

I finally shelled out the $$$ for one of these. It's nearly perfect, too. The grain is nice and crisp, and the center is excellent.

The guy I bought it from has like 4 others just like it, but I got the one in the best condition. He had a price tag of $250 on it, so I waited until he was getting ready to close up shop on Saturday afternoon...offered him $200 and he looked at the table FULL of steering wheels, and reluctantly took my cash:laugh: I figured $200 was fair for a nearly perfect blue sport wheel/hub/button.

There is a shop that sell stuff like this, or did you get it at a swap meet?

I went to the long beach swap meet and there was a lot of wheels laying around, all new. I'll probably have to get one just so I'm not too far off the standard of the then board. I'll agree with Hank, too many to choose from. Of course it would be nice with an original like Adam's but that would be if I would come across one at the yard. Last time I was there I saw an olds wheel, but the center cap was missing, and it was too worn.
