71-72 BB choke

    Bought this choke on the forum. My 72 choke has 3 mount bolts. 71 has 2. Can i take the spring out of the middle . And install in the 72 housing?

    Yes, IF you can remove the coil, and transfer it to the 72 mounting plate, it will work. I would just buy one of the electric conversions IF I wanted a choke.:D
