71-2 2 dr coupe rust free body tub

My friend needs a rust free 71-2 body tub for his 71 GS project . Looking for a 2 dr coupe with out A/C .

 

Hector has one out in Cali for $600 cant find the ad but I seen it a couple days ago, bare tub loomed clean, I'm sure it was ac tho

After he finds one,I would like a perfect 70 body shell. No doors or fenders or anything. No vinyl top ever,and hopefully no AC.

 

Out of curiousity, how does an AC shell differ from a non AC? A shell is a shell isn't it?

 

The heater/AC box cutouts on the firewall are different.

 

Also the Astro vent ducts aren't present on an AC tub and changing one over is a pita

 

Yes,I have done a number of 100% correct non-AC conversions,but they are a tedious pain. I would rather have a non-AC body to start with.
