it'll be Fall before I'm driving . Big push right now to get the brakes finished and I'm really looking forward to firing it up. Work is getting busy, my college and high school guys are about to go back to school. Means I've got to hire and train new guys, less time to play. Wah.
Today was minimal effort , have the drive shaft in with u joint attached, I'm a roller now. Will pull out this week and get it to my shop that does my work so they can do the brakes and exhaust work.... Hooked up the shift to the tranny. Have a new steering column and gs wheel to put in. Getting real close.
Looky, looky, in the sun...... Been awhile. yeah had to push it out there. going to get brakes worked on,exhaust installed. I think this ride hasn't seen the sun in many years...
We have contact, but Houston we have a problem. rear main cap is leaking. runs really good, cam broken in. Looks like next week we're on the road. Yahoo
It's been 2 weeks of replacing all brake parts, power booster ,main, lines, all hardware. Had to rebuild carb, bad accelerator pump, new vacuum advance for carb, new regulator, the auto zone alternator may be bad, only charging sometimes, exhaust is in , used system , sounds good. New steering column had to use 3 columns to get 1, installed sport steering wheel. Tons of tinkering, I have to replace the intake manifold gasket. I have a air leak. Whaaaaa
