Hey guys. I plan on taking my car for its first drive soon but I need to get a passenger side mirror for it. My 70' Skylark (not GS) only has a drivers side remote mirror, and I can't seem to find a passenger side mirror for a decent price. I came across this side mirror on eBay from what seems to be a '80-'90 Chevy Caprice and it looks almost identical. Maybe someone has the same experience as me, but are these side mirrors the same as my driver side mirror? (Apart from the Buick insignia) Thank you for reading
No. The mount is not the same. You also have the issue of whether you can find or make a wedge to cause the mirror head sit level given the contour of your door. Another potential issue is the spacing of the mounting studs relative to your existing holes.
