May entertain selling my 70 skylark.
70k mile car that was stripped to bare metal and painted base/clear last June.
    350/auto power steering/brakes, Non-Air car.
Black bench interior, needs front seat recovered for sure and package tray, has a brand new in box ACC carpet set.
New weather stripping, door handles, new G70-14 redlines with poverty caps.
Newly Rechromed back bumper, front is older rechrome that shows very well, super nice headlight bezels/and grill.
    good glass all around.
Car needs some assembly and finshing. Need $6500 as-is.
    or
For $8500, I will include the H.P. big dollar 315hp 350(disassembled), a 8.5" 10 bolt that comes with 4.10 gears and positraction unit.
Easier if you call me for details, as I have limited internet access right now.

    Thanks

    PM'd back.

Thanks Lon, and I'll be sure to tell Dad.

All PM's have been replied to. Sorry if I missed your calls this weekend, I was gone part of the weekend, and very busy once I returned home. I'm having digital camera issues, so new pics will be posted a.s.a.p.
One of the most common questions I have been asked is, "what's left to be done?" Well, seeing that I'm working on it almost everyday, the list keeps getting smaller, but to make it quick here. The interior is out of the car,but that stuff goes back in pretty quick/easy. I have the front clip off the car for front frame detailing right now, but I hope to have it all back together by this coming weekend. The transmission was just gone through, the original engine has been cleaned painted/detailed,new heater core, etc.
    Thanks for the interest,
    Tom
P.S. By back together this weekend, I should have said, original engine and trans back in the car, and front clip back on, I didn't mean to mislead anyone into thinking that the whole car would be done/assembled by the weekend.
Sorry, my bad, I blew it on that statement.

Thanks, it's a beautiful color, IMHO. I show code 34 for Aqua Mist

I just need to be clear here.... The 315hp engine is still needing assembly, the price's I listed was $6500 with the original engine in the car, or $8500 with the original engine in it and the other engine needing assembly going with it. I'm not offering this car running with the race engine for $8500. If I were to finish the car to that point, the price would be quite a bit higher, probably pushing GS pricing territory?
Sorry for any confusion this may have caused.
    Thanks for all the interest,
    Tom
    Update pics coming soon

Tom- how are/ were the inner fenders? :beer

The inner fenders are fine now, painted, and ready to go on.
Passenger side had the typical under battery tray rot, driver side had a small area near a mounting bolt hole that I fixed.

EDIT> New heater core installed tonight, and radiator core support painted ready to go on. I might possibly have part of the front clip installed tomorrow,we'll see.

Tom the car is beautiful. Do you have any serious offers.
Is the motor in it the 315hp motor?
