Thanks for picking that trim piece up, Ryan!

After fixing (I think) the brakes, I needed to make some room in the garage. Atena helped me put the hood on tonight, and with only minor adjustments, it laid right down. I was a bit nervous about the adjustment, since this hood was untested for fitment. I still need to cut and buff it, but at least I can open both doors to the car now. I also need to get it in for an alignment. I am going to try making a cruise night on Saturday if all goes well.

The scoops still need to be painted, and are just laying in place in the photos. Please excuse the massive amounts of dust

Back up and take a picture of the whole car so I can show my wife what I decided not to do. I was going to do a half assed job of the body work and take it to Maaco.

I don't have those skills or knowledge. Looks beautiful.

Chuck a burger, but if there are a million people planning on going, I'm going to bow out. The lot holds like 70 cars. I am trying to have the 70 ready by then but it will be close.

Yea, your car is beautiful, when are you gonna do my body work and paint? :)

I may be able to make the cruise-in as well with the wife.

Very nice. Glad it's back in the midwest. Like the vinyl top back on, I had a black one installed when I sold it. I got pics of this car back when I drove it from okmulgee, ok in 1998 or 99. Can't remember lol. Move to asheville, nc 2004, stored it till I moved to Spartanburg sc, stored again in sc and sold when i moved to atlanta. I spent money keeping it out the elements, glad to see it finished by a professional!!

Made some significant progress today...all stainless is installed. I have a set of belt line moldings, but need to drill holes at the tops of the doors and quarters...that makes me nervous. I think it would really set the car off, though.

    Thanks, guys!

I am going to have to wait until probably next Spring to start that project. Unless I have some free space and $$ over the Winter...

I think a cool addition (besides a YOM plate) would be a dealer emblem for the trunk. Just saying....

Couldn't resist a little photo shoot today..

Too bad v8buick degrades the photo quality when you upload to the forum...these photos were really crisp in the originals.
