My son and I dropped off a rear end at John's over the weekend to have gears and a posi unit installed. He uncovered the GSX for us to look at it again.
    It is an awesome car.

Awesome car John. Would you have any interest in selling it as a roller?

    James,
Stockers are built as a unit for its purpose as a race car. The rules are strict. You make an educated guess as to the power that can be made with a given combination and engineer the car around that. Very rarely is a car over engineered! That is one of the reasons that Stockers are as quick as they are. It is a unit and would like to sell it that way.
    Thanks, John

  14. Buizila

    Buizila GO BROWNS !!!!!!

How are you able to fit that air cleaner under your stock hood? Been trying for yrs to run buizila's stock hood with not much success on my dominator. I have the 2" drop base and a 3.5" element,my problem is the lid and hood clearance.

    It's a stock intake correct?

Yes, that is a stock 70 intake with 750 Qjet. And two stock base gaskets (per the NHRA rule book). The fuel line has a 90 degree fitting on the carb inlet because the air cleaner base sets lower than the carb inlet. The air cleaner is a Allstar Performance 16" with a 4.5" K&N air filter. It has worn a little paint off the underside of the hood bracing. So, it could not be any taller.
    Thanks, John

My father was working with Fred Yoder, early 70s on the Stage I who won a speed and time NHRA record. I was wondering if he still leave in Connecticut.

    Thanks
