Just checked the completed auctions and most of theirs get relisted. Top bidder for all the completed ones looked at was a “n***f”. Being “n***f” is not getting blocked, can only guess that the “no reserve” is a marketing ploy and n***f is a dummy bidder set up to bid what would be the reserve with the hopes that someone out bids them.
There is usually a wait time for the seller to relist the item if someone doesn't follow thru . I might have to agree with ramairbri that there was a shill bidder driving the price up. I called seller to see what he wants for the car. $159k. I Proceeded to ask thought it sold as auction ended at $134k. He told me that there was a deal at $165 and buyer could not get financing. Asked me what I was looking to give and told him and he was not interested. We shall see what happens next.
