This looks like a beauty. Price not bad if the restoration was done right. I noticed that the dash had idiot lights and a tach. Order sheet says the only way a tach could be ordered was with full instrumentation. Maybe it didn't come with a tach originally? Or, they took out the instrument cluster when they added gauges below the dash? Who knows. https://www.ebay.com/itm/202308049465?ul_noapp=true
Whats up with all the trims screws holding the door panels on? For $60k, I'd want the heat to at least work
Was it an AC car? Has AC heater control plate, dash pad, and kick panels. Also missing the stainless steel ring on the sport wheel.
I think the color was Sandpiper Beige and I don't believe it was a metallic/poly color and, I don't think it was available until '71 (???). No A/C ... in Dallas?! No thanks. I might drive up to Carrollton to take a peek at it.
Sandpiper Beige was supposedly a Riviera/Wildcat only color in 1970 but, 14 GSs were produced in Sandpiper Beige. Wonder if the subject car was really one of the 14?
