P.D. I think this is the conv I looked at some 40 years ago and it was in about the same condition, except the partial trunk floor had not been replaced. Can someone comment on the paint code?

Teal mist gray. White top and bench seat interior. Flint cars which were ordered with Riviera specific colors got an "R" prefix to the paint code.

Jim, thanks for the information, I thought it was a Riv color, but was not sure you could get 15 on a GS.

Re-looked at the add, missed the price the first time. Not sure what planet this person is on but the price is out of site, will be interesting what it brings, my friend Brian and I may go look at the car and parts ahead of time.

Looks like it's a package with all the cars an trucks. Has # 0150 stage 1 carb, I could use that, Dist wrong, numbers no the block hard to read in pics. Looks like the rear quarter panels have gone through hell from a butcher.

I've spoken to him. It is not a package deal, all vehicles will be auctioned separately. All parts removed from the GS are to be included with the GS. I had asked if there was to be a reserve or minimum bid on the car, and was told a decision was yet to be made. It is available for inspection the morning of the auction, or before by appointment.

The car does appear totally legit, but would be a TON of work. Production code is difficult to read in photo, but the 381 does fit the time frame of a car built the first week of April 1970.

VIN on block does not appear to have been tampered with.

But the rivets securing the VIN to the dash may be replacements.

Thanks for the update. I wanted to make the trip, but just couldn't swing it. I'd have likely been outbid anyway. Is the buyer a member here?
