My 70 gs 455 drop top was much worse but at least it had a drive train in it. This one is Definately worth restoring, there aren't that many left.
Really hate the LS comment. Maybe a skylark, but not a real GS convertible. Hope someone saves this one.
Dash pad is probably the straightest I've seen in a good while , I'm sure the black tape is hiding a nasty hole tho. I'm seeing a $4500 car at most tho
That car needs a whole another car to make it a car again! I see $1500 at the most there just to break even if it was parted out! Pass. Derek
Stranger things have happened. My 71 convertible was rusty but the frame was perfect in it- go figure. By rights the frame should of been toast on my car but it wasn't. Odd. If it were a Skylark, you'd probably be right. But its a 70 455 convertible. The bulk of the money that your paying is for the rarity of the car. Thee individual parts don't add up to much
On a roll back, smacks of a flipper thinking his ship has come in especially after the LS comment. One of a few over a thousand produced but that is about ALL it has going for it unfortunately
My question is what kind of morons park all these cars outside for 25 years and then wake up one day and think they can cash in their lottery ticket
The same guy that has been meaning to fix it for those last 25 years. Owner doesn't have the time or money, but can't let go. So he advertises it for the "I really don't wanna sell it" price.
M When I talk to the guy earlier this week he said he's only had the car two weeks got it in on a trade said he does metalwork don't exactly know what that meant could be some kind a body man Or metal fabricator but he knew exactly how many convertibles were made .
