Been in storage since. I’m probably never going to use it. Would be perfect for a 70 survivor. Very small amount of rust on bottom of pass frame mount. Any idea of what the value would be? The prices you are seeing now is all due to the fact that the reproductions of the 70-72 core supports are the 1970 style. When Mark Reeves was getting them reproduced he called me and asked which type he should make.

I told him to do the 70 style, as they were the ones in demand, and there were still plenty of the 71-72 NOS ones still available.

If you, as in the OP, had offered this for sale before they were reproduced, it would have been an entirely different animal.

I may post it for sale. I was hoping someone would need it for an original car. I’m needing a repop for a 72. Just hated to use this one. Repops are a dime a dozen (figuratively) and an original is only original once.

    I understand your point.

Personally I am restoring both a 70 and a 71-72 style original core support for myself. Once installed there will be "zero" scars visible, so they will look like perfect originals.

There are guys out there that will want originals, however they will probably want them to match the date of their car as well.
Therefore don't be surprised when they ask.
