This particular car I had the original carb, starter, alternator rebuilt for reliability. I kept the ignition original points system, I did upgrade the water pump and 4 core radiator (looks stock). I have the original rims w/new white wall tires for those car shows I think its necessary.
according to a conversation with his (original owner) daughter. He had a trailer hitch for his small boat installed and I got the pix.
I just want to add that the right side though looks like it squeezed the control arm a bit. Could be its' missing a spacer, and looking at the mirror pic of the other side it looks like there is only the one spacer on one bolt. I think OPG sells a kit to somewhat box the lower arms but not sure if it only comes with ordering the sway bar..Either way like said it wouldn't be to hard to fabricate.
I think I'll go with the set that is sold @ "The Parts Place" https://www.ebay.com/itm/1964-72-GM...ash=item4d14aa924c:g:fQQAAOSwMNxXWcEi&vxp=mtr
Yes. I saw those, I don't weld and in this perfect world we live in, I imagine no one would weld with gas tank on, so then I'm left with that problem. this car made it fine 48 years, no rush to do anything.
Muffler shops weld besides gas tanks everyday as do Auto Collision shops, I've done it more times than I can remember
