Basicly have an extra from the Pontiac frame I am using ...Think it had a TH400 but should be the same as 350 x member right?

I have read that it needs to be trimmed up to fit the Regal frame..

I have also read that it hit the floor.

    1. For those of you using them, did you bolt them right to the frame or did you use that factory A body frame mount..
    2. Mounted the same way as the A body , does the driveline sit at the right angle?

    Thanks

The 68-72 x-member needs a trim on the ends to fit into the rails. Not much, but it will need a trim. The 64-67 x-member will also work, but reverse problem, needs a couple inches added to it.

As for the TH350 vs TH400 thing, same x-member, different mount locations.

Thanks Jim, hopefully be trying this out soon. Are these getting bolted to the frame or using the A body mounts?

Direct bolt to frame. I have not had any noticable vibration issues in doing it this way. Just used a grade 8 - 3/8" bolt and nut combo. The tranny mount is rubber, so that dampens any vibrations from the driveline.
