I have some 350's and automatic trans that need a car to go in. I would like a nice body thats clean and straight and not rusted at all, Because I have parts cars I can deal with some parts missing but I would love a car I can plop my engine/trans into and drive! Thanks! 1970 is my Favorite

I live in Minnesota but will consider hauling something from wherever it is.

anyone know how hard it would be to put a buick 350 in a 68 GMC 4X4 truck? Would it bolt to the 4 speed manual trans?

You will need an adapter plate for the chevy bellhousing pattern on the trans.

DO you know where I can get an adapter plate? Sounds like that would make it doable!

Well, you have two choices. If the trans is in the truck, you may be able to transfer the tailshaft housing from the existing one to an Buick trans. I think the GM trucks 4x4 used the TH400.

Otherwise, your local trans shop should be able to get an adapter plate for you for $50-75.

See if you can get a Buick/Olds/Pontiac 4 spd bell housing.
If not, you will need an adapter plate to mount the Chevy bellhousing
to the Buick engine. Same plate for auto or manual trans.
