    72lark350 GOING FAST WITH CLASS

I'm back!! Always browsing but it's been a while since I've actually been ON the board. Sold my 72 skylark 5 or 6 years ago to get a car decent on gas to move off to college. Flash forward, I'm now in the USAF and located in NW Florida and I've got the Buick itch bad. I've had a couple board members throw their feelers out there to help me look but haven't had much luck.

Looking to stay under 8k and be in good shape ready to drive. A/C, 455, buckets, would be nice but not a must. 95% of the cars I've looked at over the past few months have been over 500 miles away. Seems like you Northerners are hogging all the Buicks! Thanks in advance!

Do you have to have a GS or will any Buick do?

455.....check Craig's List and you will find it.

Thanks all, missed some of the comments. I've seen all that Craigslist has to offer, I scour it daily. I was mainly trying to see if any board members were holding out on one they wanted to sell. Car in Debary is crap, owned by a teenager in my hometown. Contacted the guy in Tampa with the white one with no response but sounds sketch without a title. Looks to be decent though.

Doesn't have to be a GS, but Skylark at least. Not into the other models. I may expand to the stepchild nation but I'm even more picky when it comes to those. Probably get more for my money though with a 68-69

    Bump.
Flew to Iowa to buy that red Suncoupe that has been listed all summer in Waterloo/Traer and it was NOT as advertised. Listing is removed now but some may recall it. Interior was dirty white, ran really rough and body was scary with bondo and crappy work done under a cheap paint job. Waste of time and money. :Dou:

Mark is a super nice guy. He went and looked at the car for me ahead of time and gave an accurate description of it, I just thought I would like it more than I did. Really appreciative that he took the time to look at it and if I bought the car I was gonna meet up with him to make sure everything was kosher for the long drive I was gonna make back to Florida. Didn't work out, but oh well. PMed you back
