Ight so I made some repairs and painted this spoiler for my X,..its very lightweight and was one of the earliest reproductions made. Its ready to scuff sand for your color of choice unless you want it white as its code 10 white now.

Here's the issue it doesn't fit the hardtop 1/4panels very well...its got a larger than normal gap at the rear and pretty dang close on the front side leading me to believe this was either A made for a convertible or B was just not made as close as it should have been and will by default fit a convertible much better than it does a hardtop. The gap at the rear wont change regardless which it's on but will most certainly "look" better on a convertible.

Attaches using two studs and two bolts via threaded 5/16-24 holes. The pedestals fit the deck as close as any aftermarket I've seen,. The top is a little wavy being it's just such thin fiberglass. I have no issue regarding its structural integrity. I've got a few hours in repair and it's been primed with polyester primer blocked with 180 then primed with 2k and block with 320 then sprayed with PPG base and PPG 4000 clear. That being said I need to get $350 for it plus ship.

Yes you can buy the plastic spoiler for less and its garbage imo and doesn't sit very well to 1/4 either. Or you can buy the fiberglass for around $325 iirc and then pay another $300 to prep for paint. THIS SPOILER IS NOT PERFECTLY FLAT ON TOP DONT EXPECT IT TO BE,...granted I notice stuff alot of people dont regarding body work but...ITS MY RECOMMENDATION THAT IT BE USED ON A CONVERTIBLE,..I DO NOT HAVE ONE TO TEST FIT IT ON SO BUY AT YOUR OWN DISCRETION NO RETURNS ITS NOT WORTH SHIPPING ALL OVER TGE COUNTRY,..YOU BUY IT ITS YOURS. The pedestals appear to show a gap in the pics,.which there is because I have gaskets under them yes I know there wasn't gaskets used orginally but there should have been so I put some there

The convertible spoilers are no longer available to my knowledge, Poston sold them once upon a time but obviously that's no longer an option. Will post a few pics here shortly

I will include two locating templates for a trouble free installation

Veritably new to the vintage car game so will apologize for the questions. I thought the body line was the same for 68-72 with most the the differences being minimal. Reason I ask is I have a 68 convertible and would be interested if it stood a chance of fitting.

I honestly don't know how it would work on a 68/69,..
