I will be looking for a GS hood towards the end of the year. Don't really want a fiberglass hood. Would be choice if located in southeast part of the country. Let me know what's out there.
Well, I have a DERN. NEAR. P E R F E C T 71/72 GS hood. ABSOLUTELY NO RUST. Straight. Flat, no major dings. heck, there are no major issues anywhere what so ever. And I also have a GS dual snorkel air cleaner, brace/bracket, foam plates, NOS foams, restored grille inserts, 70 and 72 hood grilles... EVERYTHING. Complete. Package. Deal for your swap. However, not cheap. In fact, prolly close to what you paid for your Buick! Just Say'n, be forewarned, original, Steel GS hoods are getting harder to find. . . but you prolly already know that. Yeah I seen that one. I am talking with a guy up towards Asheville NC that has one. Hopefully I can get that one.
Found a hood this weekend. Got the one just outside of Asheville. Other then surface rust it is awesome shape.
