Anybody in Colorado / Michigan know this 70 4 Spd GSX Clone?

Does anyone know this car in Colorado? The current owner moved from Michigan about a year/year and a half ago. He bought it from Kevin? in Michigan who had two 4 speed clones, and was keeping the other one, which was an Arizona car. Sounds like he was fairly active in Buick circles then and also had a 67 GS 400 among others.

His name is Richard. Anybody have any info on the car?

Oh no, but look at out.

Sounds like someone may be getting a new car.....

Anybody recognize it? I have been looking for a 70 Convertible, but this one sounds good.....

"the car runs high 13's up here in Colorado on street tires...it is , to say the least, an exciting car to drive....."
    :puzzled:

With a cam, intake, Holley 780 DP, MSD 7 AL, headers and 3:64 posi, isn't hight 13's a little anemic? Even for the mile high city? :Do No:

I guess that would depend upon how much traction he was getting on street tires. Who knows what is 60 ft times were. He could have been severly traction limited.

Yeh, I just got off the phone with the owner.Sounds like a good hot rod.

The trunk has been cutout and replaced with aluminum and you fill the fuel cell below the aluminum panel by popping the trunk lid and accessing the the fuel cap inside the trunk.

Body sounds solid now.New 1/4's and the floors have been replaced at some date also_Original Muncie is gone.

The owner and his buddy were feverishly working on it while I was talking to them as he is going to be running it one last time tomorrow before the sale ends.Just for "old times sake":Brow:

He's braver than me, with my luck I'd grenade the engine just before the sale ended, or leave it knockin.

That would be fun to explain to the high bidder!
