Interior is in FANTASTIC shape? WTF? Rips in the seats, stains, white plastic crumbling.... oh, WHERE'S THE SHIFTER?!?!? That's just at a QUICK glance!!!

    You don't need a shifter ... it's automatic!

Appears to need a lot of work. The seats have 1968 release buttons or is it for the reclining passenger seat?

You would have to pay a first class shop north of 50K to make this car's condition #1.

I agree. I would love to have this car and restore it to its original glory if it is the real deal but at 35k starting bid and 50k resto? These cars I just don't get why they don't bring in the higher values. I guess that's a good thing for us as buyers that love the 68/69 body lines but bad for us for pouring in all the money time and treasure hunt for parts to get pennies back on the dollar. I don't even want to disclose the figure of what I have in to mine. I'll never get from under it.

Hmmm? 50 k resto. I know several guys that have spent 30-40 k just in parts not including labour . You would have to do it yourself to stay on that target.
