The hood on my '69 sits up too high at the front. I've wound the rubber capped bumpers at each front corner down, but I can rock the hood up or down at each front corner. My theory is that the hood latch is too high, and needs to be lowered- about 3/16" should do. If I can pull the hood down further with the latch, I can then adjust the corner bumpers to suit.

Is there any adjustment for the hood latch? I can't see any, and my downloaded manuals only have the diagrams, with no mention of adjustment.
So, can anyone offer suggestions? Or a point me to the relevant pages of a manual?

Thanks once again for your help. Now back to the wife's Peugeot. More French fun. Not.
