I am getting ready to do a disk/drum swap. I have a proportioning valve but I am not sure which hoses go where. I also have a vacum power booster to insatll. :( I belive I have a stock intake on a 71 455. I am not sure where to hook the booster up to. Can I put a T into the vacum line with the PCV valve or does it need it's own port? :Do No: Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks.

It dosn't matter how you mount it on the frame but stock it is mounted in a 45 degree angle so #2 is vertical

    Forgot the booster.
It needs its own vacuum source to work 100% but you can start out with a tee as far away from the PCV as possible and feel how much pedal pressure you need if you pump the pedal. If it feels too heavy after 2 strokes then plum the booster into the manifold

Thanks for the info. That will make this job alot easier. I guess I would just drill and tap a new outlet for the booster then?

Don't know which year manifold you got but most of them have a port or two right behind the carb a little towards the driver side.
One goes to the trans and the other (if you have it) is free
You can tee the trans port without problems or drill/tap a hole in that area (with the manifold off)
