i dont imagine you would want 7029240 it is for a 1969-430-auto . looks like Riviera even has it's own carb number. in my manual the only spec that is different between the two is the float level. i have 2 of them that need rebuilt. one was bought off of ebay, the other came off my parts car and probably has the fuel filter threads stripped due to the sealant that has been put over that area. i have never used/tested either one of them. $50 apiece, let me know if the price is outa line. i can take some pictures, but i realize you probably want your matching number, cant say i blame you. good luck randy
Thanks Randy, but I was looking for the exact match since my knowledge on carbs is limited as it is. Appreciate the response.
yea mine too. what i did was setup an ebay search on title and description and put in the carb number as the search criteriea. i had it email me when one came up. i ended up getting an already rebuilt carb for my car.it came from this guy . i just bolted it on and went with it. it works fine. i would like to fine tune it someday but i have other fish to fry. here is my carb i won i did have a problem with one of the vacuum lines, but i got it figured out see ya randy
I for darn sure have one on my parts car. Aint seen gas in a couple years, though. Interested? -- Steve
