Having just finished a 69 a few weeks ago, I can tell you first hand the amount of body work and block sanding to get one of these "step children" straight is no easy task.
You have to use every single shape dura block made, and then still there are areas where you have to be creative, and manipulate a block that wasn't made for the surface/contour your trying to make look right.
I tip my hat to anyone working on a 68/69, they are a VERY under appreciated body style. The Buick designers left no section of body panel blank. They added body lines, contours, concaves, etc. Everywhere.

    Looking fantastic guys!

I met up with Tom Tutmaher and his wife in State College yesterday. He lives in New York, outside of Erie and I am outside of Phila. We each crossed half the state so I could get his NOS 69 left quarter panel. We had a nice lunch, and told all kinds of Buick stories. I want to thank him for selling me his quarter so I could replace the one I "borrowed" from Nick. He really saved me on this one, as it would have taken quite a bit of time to repair the original one.
    Thanks again.

PS. I think they are fans of Hoss's now.

Nick started on the body parts today. Here are some pics of the trunk lid and front fenders. The fenders were from Arizona and were really nice. In the pics you can see they are stripped and he is filling in all the holes from the trim.
