It’s fantastic that you’re sharing this car with everyone! I’m sure the rarity and the restoration will truly be appreciated.

Yeah well it's been hiding for too long and it's story needs to get out there.

I also plan to attend two local shows this month, weather permitting.
The Delaware Valley Olds Club is having their BOPC show on May 18th in West Chester, Pa.
and Linvilla Orchards in Media, Pa. is having their show on May 19th.

So if anyone wants to come on down I will be there.

IMHO...Duane I wouldn't even think about adding it all up for a total.
You know it was a lot! Everyone who sees the car or this thread knows it was a lot!
You also know that the restoration and all of the hard work was not financially driven. I don't want to say that you were going to restore it regardless of cost, but you were going to get it done one way or another.

    Keep it...drive it....show it....appreciate it....Love it....be it's care-taker.

But please, don't ever TOTAL it! LOL. ;)

That will have to wait a while until I get someone in the car with me that could do a video. There is no way I could do that while driving.

They deleted Martyn Schorr's (Motion co owner) comments about your car on Gardners FB Page. LOL
So I deleted my previous comments on this page. I would spend the money getting Joel Rosen's documentation so you can to prove it is what you say it is. ( I did tag your wife on that post originally so you could see what he said.) Nuff said.

Not when I asked him when he first got the car. He said he has a letter stating it might of been worked on there. Joel Rosen has all the documentation on every "Motion" car built. There is a difference between worked on there and being a Motion car as Marty stated. I hope he spends the money to get real documentation. It is very expensive to get that from Joel. I grew up by Joels first shop when I was a kid in Brooklyn, NY, then lived by his 2nd shop in Baldwin, Long Island after I got married 37 years ago, and was there more often than I care to admit. ;-) I see and have lunch with Marty everytime he is in NY and Joel is a friend also. Better safe then sorry in this litigious country what with Lawyers specializing in this category of automotive history, especially if he or his heir's ever decide to sell. I truly hope it is what he says it is. I also have been invited to the Concours he will be attending with the car.

I will be answering Phil's post within the next few days and want to thank him for his insight. The problem is basically one of wording and is very important to me because I do not want anyone "perceiving" the car as something it is not. I will make everything clear soon. I especially wanted to thank Phil for his timing, as I needed this info before an article could be written about the car. We are going to have a Photo-shoot soon, and hopefully getting an article published.

I also wanted to post a few pics of the car from Beth's first ride. This was the first time she saw the car done and we stopped at a friends house to show it off. I think Beth took the best pics I have of the car so far. It's a shame I had to cut the files down to make them fit here. They lost some of the crispness.

I revved the car up a few times until Ed came out to see the car. She asked if that is how Muscle Cars said hi? I said absolutely!

PS. And before you guys start busting on me, yes that is BETH's pocketbook on the passenger side floor.:D

PSS. I uploaded the pics that Ryan cleaned up. They definitely look better then the original ones I posted. Thanks Ryan.

just awesome Duane, that is a piece of art! Love to see you driving it and showing it off, and not pushing it in and out of a enclose trailer.

    Thanks,
It is a blast to drive. I did a couple of short rides when I first got it and then went to a show that was 17 miles away. When I got back I had sucked out 10 gallons of gas. It came out to about 4 miles per gallon, but they sure were a fun 4 miles per gallon.:D
