I was wondering why you didn't have the 4 blade spacer. '69 4-speed get the AC stuff ?

Because I wanted to use the system with the most cooling capacity. If the car came with HD cooling it would have had the 7-blade fan with the clutch, so it's still correct.

The engine build is also a bit more then stock. I am going to run this and see how it is.

    Duane,

The only problem I can see as a possibility is the 50 year old clutch may be N/G. IF it is, as you well know, it's easy to replace.

Yeah I thought about that too. We will see if it works, if not then it was at least worth a try. It didn't take long to clean up, and I wanted to show the guys how I do them up.

Happy New Year! Not trying to critique that exemplary job you are doing, but you really should ditch the brass 2" long nipple on the oil pressure fittings. If that takes any kind of a bump, or even just regular engine vibration, it can fail. Even just from tightening the threads stretch an will always weep oil... Just sayin'... ws

I have been running the same setup on mine for over 20 years with zero troubles. I also have the factory sender threaded into mine as well so the factory gauge functions properly.

I was up to see the car yesterday and wanted to post some pics of my friends Bill Jennings, Gene Hill, and Nick Serwo.

Billy is in the Flannel Shirt and had not seen the car since we pulled it out of Jimmy's garage. Billy has known our friend Jim Hawthorne since Bill was 12 and Jimmy was 8 years old
I have known Billy and Jimmy for 35 years now.
    Enjoy.

I don't care about your friend's, Duane. I want to know if there's anything good in the boxes on the shelves. lol

    Frank,
I try not to look at the stuff on the shelves. Some of that is ready to go parts for some of Nick's ongoing projects.

Although I did notice a few "holes" in those shelves this trip. Nick's Black 69 convertible, that's on the lift behind my car, is getting the 4-speed treatment and a set of Vintage Lakewood ladder bars.

I also know that I don't even have a table full of parts left, just one end of a banquet table.:D
