Hey I forgot is this a 3 speed or 4 speed?

Edit: Never mind. I was thinking of the 3 barrel carb.

    FYI,
This year the Radnor Hunt Club Concours d'Elegance show featured Buicks and I and was invited to take both the 69 GS and my 71 GSX. There were a bunch of us Buick nuts there with our cars, including Tim Garland, Paul & Lynn Gawel, Phil Roitman and Alan Oldfield. I could not get the 71 GSX started so I only brought the one car. I finally got to see Phil's 73 car and it is beautiful.

It was really something to be invited to this event, and to be included on a show field with some extremely valuable and historic cars. One thing that really got me was the judges made us start up the cars as they were being judged. There were a few 50's factory race cars there that were incredibly loud, but they all got started.

Tim Garland won for the 70's Buick Class with his 70 GSX, and Alan Oldfield won in the Buick un-restored class with his 75 Buick Pace car.

It was a beautiful day and everyone had a good time.

    No,
The car that won for the 60's Buick was a 63-65 Riviera. It was a beautiful car and was a silvery green color. The judges came back to talk to me at least 3 different times and asked a ton of questions about it.

This car is going to be like my X-Camino, as in it really does not fit in a particular class. I was happy to just be invited and hang out with my friends.

Dick Harvey is the owner of the 64 Riviera & he wins first place or best of show when ever he enters a show & it is never trailered. Our shop did the mechanical resto & Scotty G did the engine rebuild. A week after we installed the engine he drove ot to the BCA Nationals in Wisconsin to break-in the motor! He puts 4,000 to 5,000 miles on it a year. I can't believe he can keep it so nice being driven so much.

Just got this in the mail the other day and thought I would share it.

A company called "In The News" contacted me and told me they make up wall displays of car articles that are published in the Magazines. They get the exact digital copies of the pages from the magazines and make up the plaques. I asked if I could see what it would look like and they said they would make one up and send it to me. It was then up to me to decide if I wanted it, or I could send it back.

Now this is the first time I got to see exactly how the article was going to look when it gets published, which will be in a few weeks. They are not cheap, but the plaque is beautiful, and they know exactly how to market their product. Once you see the finished product you have to buy it. I was hooked.

I am including their label that is on the back if anyone is interested in getting something made. I would imagine if you send them artwork for your car they could make something up for you.
    Enjoy.

Well it looks like the Magazine is out now. It is the November issue of Muscle Car Review and I will post a pic of the cover.

Can you guys let me know where you see them for sale. I need to buy some copies for myself and to give to a few local friends.
    Thanks.

    Duane,
You are going to bring the '69 to BG this year, right? I may only be there Friday & Saturday this year, if at all, and I do want to see it in person.

    Mike,
If you want to see it in person, I plan on taking it to both BG and MCACN in Chicago this year.

For the GS Nats I should be there sometime Wednesday, thru Friday. I generally pack everything up end of Friday and then leave Saturday morning to go home.
