Are the inner fenders the same for a '68 and '69 Skylark/GS?

From what little I know yes they are the same.

The outer fenders are the same with the exception of some trim pieces and I was always led to believe the inners were the same as well.

Thanks. I need a set for a ‘68 and I’m trying to educate myself before I place a parts wanted ad. I know very little about the ‘68 models.

Gary, I’ve seen the ‘70-‘72 inner fender repair used on a ‘68. The repair I saw was very solid and well done but off the car you could tell it had been done. On the car it was almost invisible. Not sure how perfect you’d want it nor how much harder perfect would be.

    Thanks Patrick.

The problem here is that this '68 is nice and solid but both inner fenders got lost in a move across country. Good to know that if I stumble on a rough '68 inner fender I can use a '70 patch as a last resort.

The Buick parts book shows the same part numbers for '68-69 inner fenders, both left and right, so at least they interchange!

    1968-69 3000-4000 Left: 1230449
    Right: 1232912
